Science Daily reports on the past couple of years Bee Colony Collaspe: It was a parasite. Once scientists determined the cause, they were able to treat bee colonies with an antibiotic and the colonies recovered completely.

True, but bees are still having problems across the continent. There is a hypothesis under study that all our cell phone towers are screwing up the bee’s direction finding apparatus. Bees apparently use the earth’s magnetic field to navigate, and the em from cell towers, power lines, etc, might throw them off. Which might lead to less nourishment for the hive with all those workers wandering around lost.
