Oregon Senator Ron Wyden (D) voted against bailing out the banks – twice.

Central and Eastern Oregon Representative Greg Walden (R) twice voted to loot the public treasury with bailouts for the International Bankers and Insurers, and not only continues to agitate for more bailouts for the richest two percent of the population through extending the so-called “Bush Tax Cuts” but openly advocates taking the US Treasury Bonds – “Backed by the Full Faith and Confidence of The United States” – held in trust by the Social Security Administration and giving them to the richest of the rich, the top two percent of the population… The Global Elite and The International Bankers.

Kinda’ makes you wonder who Greg Walden works for, Central and Eastern Oregon, or The Global Elite and The International Bankers and Insurers?

In May 2007, George W. Bush [Greg Walden] welcomed Queen Elizabeth II to the White House, hosting a ceremony attended by 7,000 guests followed by the first white-tie state dinner of his presidency. If we abide by the twisted logic of some “Ground Zero mosque” opponents, we must now view this affair as controversial, explosive, and offensive.

With Bush and the Republicans [Greg Walden] in charge, our government honored the monarch of a nation that once invaded America and destroyed much of our capital city. When Bush remarked that the UK had “written many of the greatest chapters in the history of human freedom” he neglected to point out that British invaders had burned down the White House itself—with the First Lady inside of it.

The enemy forces also torched the Senate. House, Treasury, and Library of Congress. The result was a still unprecedented occupation of Washington, DC by a foreign power.

Try as I might, I cannot find any evidence that Newt Gingrich, Charles Krauthammer, or the other self-appointed guardians of our national honor and dignity[Greg Walden] did anything to stop Bush from letting the royal family set foot on the hallowed ground the British once savagely desecrated. (Bush the Father also invited the queen to the White House in 1991.)

Do they not consider our government’s most cherished structures, our highest symbols of freedom and democracy, to be sacred spaces worthy of their patriotic protection? What message are they sending to the descendants of the 20,000 Americans whose lives were lost (as a direct result of combat or an indirect result of disease) to the War of 1812?

Which explains why The Republicans and Christians love him so much.

The British newspaper The Daily Telegraph says that saliva samples were collected from 39 Hitler relatives:

A chromosome called Haplogroup E1b1b1 which showed up in their samples is rare in Western Europe and is most commonly found in the Berbers of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, as well as among Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews …

Haplogroup E1b1b1, which accounts for approximately 18 to 20 per cent of Ashkenazi and 8.6 per cent to 30 per cent of Sephardic Y-chromosomes, appears to be one of the major founding lineages of the Jewish population

There are two groups in this country right now. Us, and Them.

We want more jobs, better schools, better health, better pensions, and we want to keep our homes. We want not just jobs but jobs that mean something, jobs that pay a decent wage. We want to live a good life.

And then there’s them. They simply have one goal and one goal only. And that is to destroy the government. They’re not conservatives. They’re anarchists.

I don’t know why they want anarchy. In fact, they don’t know, either. Even they don’t know what kind of inner darkness causes them to seek wars without end, to burn the planet, to welcome poverty for so many, to leave the old and the sick helpless, to cheer oil in the Gulf. I’ve spoken to enough of them to be able to tell you that they themselves don’t know why.

But that’s what they want. So, now we have to decide who is going to run this country. Is it Us, or is it Them? And what’s at stake is the future. The future in a country that my five children will live in, that your children will live in, that you’ll live in for the rest of your life.

Are we going to have a country with a decent middle class life for everyone– jobs, health care, roads, schools? Or, are we going to have poverty, cheap labor, helplessness and hopelessness? The choice is yours.

…..

Republicans [Greg Walden] have been claiming that giving uber tax-breaks to the uber rich reduces the deficit. Keeps us all working, the economy strong.

What happened?

From [candidates] Sharron Angle to Rand Paul and from [representatives] Paul Ryan to [house minority speaker] John Boehner — Republicans [Greg Walden] are talking about either phasing out Social Security entirely or making such radical changes to it as to dismantle and make it unrecognizable to the successful program it has been for 75 years,”*

Forty-one years ago I got a Social Security Card and went to work on a cattle ranch a hundred miles the other side of Burns. When I first cashed that first paycheck, I entered into a social contract with The United States Government – specifically if I pay into the system for the next forty-five or fifty years, then after forty-five or fifty years of paying into the system the system will pay me back. I faithfully met my part of the contract, faithfully paid into the system.

Now the Republicans [Greg Walden] want to take away what I’ve paid for the past forty-one years, just nine years short of honoring its end of the social contract… to steal it from me and give to the bankers. Violate the social contract we entered into forty-one years ago. Rip me off, and give it away.

G’Da used to talk about not pissing off old men, who have nothing to lose.

It’s why your car runs like shit, is losing three to seven miles per gallon in mileage, and the whole damned town stinks like a wet diaper in the mornings.

Rammed down our throats by the corn growers and their bought Republicans.

Congressional Republicans voted against funding local law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services and the educational system. All but two Congressional Republicans have declared police, fire-fighters, paramedics and teachers “special interest groups”, evil socialist unions engaged in pinko commie plots to undermine The Nation, and voted against keeping cops and emergency personnel on the street and teachers in the classroom.

Central and Eastern Oregon Congressman Greg Walden is not one of those two. Congressman Walden has declared the police, fire-fighters, paramedics and teachers to be “special interest groups”, evil socialist unions engaged in pinko commie plots to undermine The Nation, and yesterday voted against keeping cops and emergency personnel on the street and teachers in the classroom. Congressman Walden, who do you work for?

The Voters of Central and Eastern Oregon, or The Banks and Wall Street?

Who do you work for?
