This project may already cost a staggering $68 million. That is going to drive up water rates for ratepayers by some 40 percent. Now is the time to take another look at the city’s options, to address the concerns of opponents and to ensure that the city’s project is on solid ground.
Our water doesn’t need to be “treated”.
