Trustfunder punk who’s never done a day’s real work in your life, I hear your panties are in a twist because The President recess appointed administrators to consumer and labor protections agencies, agencies voted into law by both houses of congress, because though you and your obstructionist colleagues are home suckling at the Drug/Media/Oil Complex teat congress remains “officially” in session. Uhhmmm, Greg, you might want to see Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution:
“[The President] may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper.”
The “House” is in recess, the Senate is faking it, doing the pro forma dance, making sure that someone walks into the chamber and bangs a gavel every three days so that it’s never actually “in recess.” You might think that kind of tap dancing is cute, but the vast majority of “Americans” disagree, and I don’t doubt Obama would find support across the spectrum were he to, as is his right, send you bastards home until such a time as you can be replaced with someone who doesn’t work for the international bankers, insurers, and the Military/Industrial/Drug/Media/Oil Complex.
It’s Obama’s responsibility under law, per Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution: The President “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”
